I'm just trying to help my friend who got screwed over by some other guy. Ok, here's the setup. My friends computer was recently built for her as a budget xp system, 1.6ghz dual core, 2 gigs of ram,microsoft office 2010 Professional Plus activation key, 80gig IDE hd,cheap microsoft office Home And Business 2010, dvd/cdrw,discount microsoft office 2010 serial, ect. Anyway. She didn't know the copy of windows was pirated. The person who built it and installed it turned off windows-update, so she never had an issue with proper activation untill she turned it on, and it was asking her to activate. Of course, when she tried to use the key, thats when the problems occured. Now she can't get past the login-screen, because windows keeps saying "this is not a genuine, blah blah blah". Anyhow, i need to know. Is there anyway to get to her files, so we can take them off before we do an installation of a legit copy of windows? Obviously,microsoft office 2010 Home And Student activation key, we can't attack this head on. I don't nessicarrily need to login to windows, or "getaround" the activation.
