Marc Jacobs is known for creating quirky, bizarre ads. We’ve even featured a few on Trend Hunter, which you can see underneath. Now a new series of Marc Jacobs ads are stirring a hum in the shape blogosphere too, this time featuring a bearded male, with glossy long cilia, sporting a retro tracksuit and holding a brown leather sack a he sprawls out in ######y poses.
They’re strange alright, but this time, they’re ########.
We’ve seen imitation status bags and fast fashion retailers knock-off designer raiment, merely false commercial is a activating spoof. The ads were circulating the network for a while, and for almost a week, no one was certain if they were real MJ ads or parodies.
It corners out, it was all a prank, and the ingenious credit has been given to Hart+Larsson.
After the images 1st began circulating, not one had anybody idea who created the ads; not until Fashionista received the emulating email:
