LFW Autumn 2009: ‘Barbie’ All Dolled Up
Lakme Fashion Week started off with a show commemorating 50 annuals of Barbie. Several Indian designers had formerly submitted their designs as to how they would clothe the doll and the winning design would be then be worn by sometime prototype and immediately actress Katrina Kaif.
The show began off with Walushca Robinson in a pink Vikram Phadnis institution (yet discerned above Priyanka at the final LFW -see inside) and with models showcasing extra outfits along various additional designers. The winning design was Nishka Lulla’s, whose design was a tiered mini with a brocade bodice (as penetrated on Katrina). The best part of the show whereas was Waluscha’s daughter Chanel who while dressing a web gown designed by ‘The Shirt Company’ accompanied her mommy on the ramp. So Awwwww.
