It didn't work for me on Windows XP. Is it Vista only or did I do it wrong?

This tip has its limits. I have 24 icons in my Quick Launch toolbar. There are no keyboard shortcuts that I know to launch icons 11-24. I suppose I could assign shortcut keys to the icons but you cannot use the
Windows key in those types of shortcuts. BTW,
Microsoft Office 2010 X64, this works for Windows+0 as well as numbers 1-9. Thus the first 10 icons have built-in keyboard shortcuts.

Apologies for not clarifying this. Yep,
Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 Sale, it's Vista-only.

Good tip.
Note: the quick launch has to be enabled in the task bar,
Netbook Users (netbook) group - Identi.ca, not on the desktop.
I've been using another tip that you can drag the quicktstart folder to the edge of your screen so that it takes up less space on the taskbar,
Office Professional 2010 X64, yet you can see lots more icons. For example I've now got my quick launch running up the left side of my monitor,
Office 2010 Professional X64 Key, so I can see over 30 icons that I can launch with a single click.
