Dodd-He forever sounds like a Senator.
Well, I had doubts about it…but the youtube format was pretty good. The informality and the irreverence of answers was classicly American. The respond to Drudge’s mocking headline “Is This Any Way to Elect A President?” is:
Biden–a generally strong night, but erroneous on Darfur. (And Hillary was right.) If we put American crews there, they would preoccupy jihadis like flies, just as they have in Iraq. It would be Somalia in no time. What’s needed is UN peacekeepers.
Kucinich and Gravel–as ever. Enough yet.
Edwards–Best of the nominee commercials. Very clever “hair” offering,
Gucci bags, mingling gossip almost his haircuts with images of Iraq and Katrina. Generally muscular and gracious reactions. (Though wildly silly apt say that he didn’t favor Hillary Clinton’s blouse.) But on the subject of haircuts, if I were spending always that money, I’d have the beautician increase a little gray: I’m no sure why it namely, but Edwards comes off for too much the tyro apt be a President. Appearances do stuff. Sorry.
Richardson–I still don’t get it. You can’t drag the troops out of Iraq in 6 months. The YouTube questioner who opposed the warfare, but reiterated afresh and again, “How Do you pull out…now?” had a point that no except Biden and Clinton (Again!) responded to with whichever integrity. (Note to Obama campaign: Removing U.S. war troops by March 2008, as the Iraq Study Group recommended, was plausible in December 2006…but that 8 months ago. Need one eight-month revision to November 2008, at the fewest, unfortunately.)
Obama–a pretty nice night. But I terror that the operative sound bite will be Hillary’s foreign governor takedown. Also,
coach mens, he’s just wrong: the merely way to obtain to prevalent health assurance is via a mandate. No two ways about it.
Hell,
ghd hair australia, yes. It’s a lot better than electing a President along having the Democratic candidate slimed through sleazy Republican leaks to your site, Matt.
Hillary Clinton–a good night. Very fast tactical move to challenge Obama on his appetite to talk to “foreign leaders.” Of lesson, substantively, Obama and Clinton would arrange the exact same groundwork ahead appointment with those leaders. But Clinton’s pointing out that the groundwork had to be done was, challenge I say it, judicious and presidential…and made Obama see, well,
Gucci 2010, ignorant.
As as the candidates…
