Default steam shower

It may not be such a big deal at the start, but the kind of faucet that you install can really make an impact on the overall appearance of your shower cubicle. There are several to choose from, but they all could be put into only five broad categories. Learning these categories will assist you in making an informed decision on which one to purchase.
Center Set Mini Spread Faucet - It is probably the most common style. There is one valve for hot water and one valve for cold water. It has a spout which sits right in between them. Hot and cold water mix before it comes out of the spout. This style is most appropriate for smaller steam shower, or if you would like your bathroom to have a simple look.
Center Set Wide Spread Faucet - This is the same as the one mentioned above, so hot and cold water are going to mix before it flows out from the spout. But, the valves are spread far apart. This type of bathroom faucet is most suitable for bigger bathrooms.
Basin Faucets - In these faucets, hot and cold water have their own separate valve and spout. For warm water, you have to allow it to mix in the bowl. Needless to say they are not really practical. However, they make for a nice rustic feel if that is what you are looking for.
Wall Mount Faucet - As the name suggests, the valve and spout assembly is mounted directly to the wall rather than the sink basin. The sink basin is located separately beneath. These can make for a stylish modern look, especially when the bowl is not recessed, and rather sitting on top of the sink counter.
Single Hole Faucet - This is the plainest of shower faucet. Hot and cold water get mixed and released via one valve. The water is released as you pivot the valve up or down, and mixed when you turn the valve left and right. This style of faucet is most suitable for smaller bathrooms, or if you would like to give your bathroom a simple appearance.
