Much from the buzz inside the moveable computing planet has centered on tablets as of late but that doesn’t mean devices like the iPad or the Motorola XOOM are the only capable mobile computing devices on the market. In fact, many would argue that devices like the laptop or netbook are far more suitable for those actually looking to do work on the go. This, of course, isn’t a lot of a surprise considering these devices feature things like a physical keyboard and a full fledged operating system.
For those of you that agree with these claims
Office Professional Plus, Acer has a new netbook offering for you. Announced today is the Acer Aspire One 552 netbook complete with a 11-inch display with 1366 x 768 resolution
Windows 7 Activation, a 1GHz C-50 processor, Radeon HD 6250 GPU and a battery rated for up to 7 hours of life. It also features a unique lid that has a sort of ripple effect molded into the plastic as you'll be able to see above. Unfortunately, there is no word on what price tag the Aspire One 522 will feature nor when it will be made available but we’ll certainly keep you posted as more is made known.
