We’ve explained before how you can use the new PowerPoint Web App to view presentations in a browser or attend broadcasts started from PowerPoint 2010. We’re excited to let you know how you can enjoy the same experience when you’re far away from your desk, using your mobile phone. As long as you have a phone with a browser, you can be sure that you’ll never miss a presentation when you’re on the go and don’t have access to a computer. Viewing Presentations Viewing a presentation with your phone is simple. If you haven’t learned how to access and read your file with the mobile viewer, you can read about it here: Accessing Office Documents Using Your Phone. Attending a Broadcast PowerPoint Broadcast Slideshow on a Mobile Device Joining a broadcast on a phone is straightforward. Open the email invitation, click the link for remote viewing, and the Mobile Viewer for PowerPoint will open and display the presentation. You’ll jump straight to the current slide,
Office 2007, the same slide everyone else viewing the presentation will see. The view will refresh automatically whenever the slide changes. If your phone’s browser does not support JavaScript, you can select how often the page refreshes to check for updated slides (every 10 seconds,
Office Ultimate 2007 Key, or 15 seconds,
Purchase Office 2010, or only when you manually refresh). Once you’re watching the slides,
Windows 7 Professional Key, call in to the meeting to listen to the presenter– all from a single device! -Sharlene Yuan
