　　“用户体验”作为企业理念的第一条，写在贝索斯1997年上市第一年的致股东信里，至今没 变。

　　在亚马逊，我们看到一张名为“我们的良性循环”图。亚马逊的人解释说，这张图可以从任何一个地方看起， 但“我们建议你从‘用户体验’那进入……”显然，这事已公理般地成为亚马逊人思考问题的“入口 ”。

　　总之，从1996年贝索斯在西雅图某家车库创业以来，亚马逊已发展蜕变为一家涉足硬软件领域、横跨实体 经济与虚拟服务的公司，而支撑起这个架构的，是它强大的技术系统。
　　从卖书到卖百货，如果说还只是一次规模的扩张，那么在亚马逊平台上引入商家开店，则算一次模式上的“无 中生有”，后面的“无中生有”还包括：为 卖家提供第三方仓储物流服务、销售数字音乐、进入视频流媒体、打造Kindle、为中小企业提供“云存储” 和服务，等等。这些“无中生有”的产品与服务有 的培育出亚马逊新的增长点，有的则到现在还不够成功，但均使亚马逊超越了网络零售商的传统定义。2010年 ，Kindle电子书的销量连续几个季度超越纸 版书。更让人不敢小视的是，其云计算在2010年所带来的营业额据外界估算约为5亿美元，尽管这仅占全年销 售收入342亿美元的一点点，却被亚马逊寄予厚 望。贝索斯在内部明确说,有手机窃听器吗，云计算服务像是一粒种子，我们都知道它将来会成为大树，会对公司营收有非常大的影响，现在只是不知道会成 为什么样的树。

　　法则三：数据

　　提出最佳改善意见的员工，会被中心颁发奖章、纪念品，身上的挂牌颜色也不一样。这是以丰田为首的日本制 造企业精益式管理的典型做法。Bert说，包括他本人在内的很多亚马逊运营管理人员，都专门为此去丰田考察 学习过。
　　贝索斯带头，很多亚马逊中高层每年都会抽出一定时间到运营中心现场工作，甚至做最具体的放货、装货工作 。有人回忆贝索斯有一年到某个仓库工作期 间，刚好在那发生一起安全事故，有个工作人员把自己的包放在传送带上，结果拿包时不慎启动传送带，伤了手指 。贝索斯马上从“为什么他会伤手指”开始问起， 在现场的白板上一连问了五个“为什么”，一步步推导出：需要在仓库适当的地方为员工放置桌台，并加强安全培 训,手机窃听卡tharow.cn。

　　不是只有贝索斯一个CEO重视用户体验的价值，但很少见一个CEO这么频繁地、自我暗示性地展现他对此 的偏执。并且，他成功地把这自我暗示施加给了全公司，“用户体验”成了哪怕从亚马逊离辞的人都忘不掉的共同 语言。
　　现在被亚马逊高层经常用来举例说明该公司如何彻底以用户为中心的例子是，当年贝索斯顶住华尔街和公司内 部的批评与压力，决意开发亚马逊的第三方 卖家市场，甚至不惜“承受短期财务损失”。贝索斯当时表态说：碰见要做这种自己跟自己打架的决定，我们不妨 把问题简化一下，只需想下“什么对顾客是更好 的”，只要我们站在顾客这边思考问题，时间一长，这能强制我们做出正确的行为。

　　眼下，苹果公司已绽放成全球IT界一枝最夺目却也可能是最敏感脆弱的花，夺目在于它打通了硬软件领域的 任督二脉，脆弱在于它强烈地依赖于乔布 斯，而他的身体状况令外界担忧。贝索斯似乎没有乔布斯那种夺目的、天纵般的才华，亚马逊公司对业界似乎也没 有产生苹果已经产生的那种颠覆性效应，但亚马逊 拥有的用户规模与渠道、战略上的步步为营、层次丰富与连环相扣，可能会使这家公司的价值辐射，在未来显出深 远效应。

　　亚马逊的商业模式发展到现在，“用户”对它而言，已不再仅是零售顾客，还包括活跃在B2C平台上的中小 商家，享受其物流服务和云存储服务的企 业。CTO认为，正是因为亚马逊零售商出身，且长期专注在用户需求上，所以在向大量中小企业提供IT系统基 础架构时，体现出比其它高科技公司更好的成本控 制力与服务用户的能力，这是亚马逊的云计算当下领先的原因。

　　如果说“用户体验”是一种指向，那么数据是通往该指向切实的工具。否则，“体验”是好是坏无从谈起，或 不准确。
