Default Genuine Windows 7 Entrepreneur, teacher, and stude

To say that Rita Williams-Bogar is an overachiever would be a massive understatement! From starting her own consulting business to shaping minds in the classroom, Rita keeps herself very busy.

We found Rita on our LinkedIn Office group, and were intrigued by one of her posts about OneNote:

Given her passion for OneNote and our unending desire to learn more about the people who use our favorite app, we asked Rita to share a bit about herself,Genuine Windows 7, her business and how she keeps her life in order with OneNote. In Rita’s own words:

"After a 25-year highly successful corporate career, I decided to leave my employer in September 2003 to pursue my dream of entrepreneurship. Six months later, I formed my company, Personal Development Solutions, LLC. I provide consultative services to businesses, non-profit entities, and individuals in the areas of leadership development, emotional intelligence, ethics, diversity, strategic thinking & planning, professional growth, and insurance technical education. I am also a keynote speaker for professional associations.

"Using a client-centered approach, I provide workshops custom-tailored to my clients’ needs. My mission is to share proven strategies to better leverage individuals’ talents and skills to reach their full potential. I also am a university professor and must manage multiple classes. Not one to sit still, I am also a student – pursuing my Ph.D. in Management,Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007, with a concentration in Leadership & Organizational Change. And, I serve on a number of not-for-profit boards.

"As my business, client roster, and other commitments grew, I found myself in need of a way to easily track my projects, courses, speaking engagements, travel, et al. I explored various paper-based systems. However,Office 2010 Sale, I wanted to avoid the clutter as well as have information on all projects at my fingertips no matter where in the world I was located.

"Then this summer, I purchased Office 2010 Professional. That’s when I discovered OneNote. Using this tool has helped me to stay organized and on top of my commitments. The program is so incredibly easy to use,Office 2007 Pro Plus Key! Having one “notebook” hold all my sub-notebooks is a delight. I set up notebooks for:
Projects — a. Open, b. Closed Travel — Business and Personal Classes that I’m teaching and classes that I’m taking
"When I use my notebooks I picture the old school three-ring binders with divider tabs! With OneNote, my “binders” are much easier to manipulate.

"As soon as I connect with a potential client, I immediately start a new page with their name. I use speech recognition software and dictate the details onto the page. Date, contact person, desired outcomes, list of tasks, and tracking information. Then, when I receive an update, I log it in. Once the project is completed, I simply move the page to Closed Projects.

"I especially like the ability to type anywhere on the screen. And bringing photos and other items in works well. After one of my engagements, I downloaded photos and incorporated them into my notebook so that I have a permanent record.

"As a Ph.D. student, it is critical for me to track assignments,Windows 7 X86, group work, etc. I follow the same process as indicated above. Ditto for the classes I teach.

"The fact that OneNote saves my work as I go is a relief! No worries about accidentally losing unsaved work. I’m sure I’m just beginning to scratch the surface of One Note’s capabilities. I’m looking forward to downloading templates and becoming even more productive."

There you have it…OneNote can literally help you keep tabs on your life. From the boardroom to the classroom, Rita is a shining example of how OneNote can be a Swiss Army knife for survival in the jungle of information at our disposal.

Got a similar story you’d like to share? We’d love to hear your OneNote tale.
