If asked to name the best teams in England it would be quite straight forward – wouldn’t it? Well according to the latest Club World Rankings, you may need to reassess.
The list is likely to put a smile on the faces of Fulham fans but it would be wise not to take the table too seriously. Apparently Manchester City are the 142nd best club side – 14 places behind Dundee United. Meanwhile Real Madrid are down in 20th place despite only just missing out on the La Liga title.
Fulham narrowly missed out on winning the inaugural Europa League
Fulham have been placed above Manchester United and Arsenal,
main jewellery sale, and are only beaten to the award of the top English side by west London rivals Chelsea. The Cottagers’ place at number nine in the rankings means they are also rated above Real Madrid and AC Milan.
