Under the intention of honorary president Martin Scorsese, the repertory lineup features extra than 20 restored alternatively newly printed world cinema classics, including two new docus about legendary European filmmakers.
Toplining the program is a restored publish of Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger's 1948 Technicolor ballet masterpiece, "The Red Shoes." A favorite of Scorsese's,christian louboutin shoes, the film will be presented by the helmer and his long-time editing associate and Powell's widower Thelma Schoonmaker.

The widespread retrospective is rounded out by a festival of helmer Joseph Losey's 100th birthday -- including screenings of the Harold Pinter scripted/Dirk Bogarde starrer "Accident," and the director's version of Mozart's "Don Giovanni" ?and a program of 11 restored classics, including works by Godard,Tods and shoes, Antonioni, Visconti and Tati, and the seldom screened 1971 Australian Outback romance "Wake in Fright."
