Update 2 (five:51PM EDT): The uploader from China who statements he has the final Windows 7 RTM code has become uploading it in 100MB parts. Only ten components are uploaded before he “went to sleep.” Numerous sites have posted these links, claiming they are the real deal. They are not.
Update three (6:11PM EDT): Dwight Silverman from TechBlog is saying that a Microsoft spokesperson had told him Windows seven has not RTMed yet. But Long Zheng, a respected Windows blogger, thinks otherwise. I told Silverman that it was typical for a Microsoft spokesperson to deny something that would be later announced. However, he stated in a tweet to me that he was told “more than that.”
