Although I am aware this may be the subject of a prior post,
Office 2010 Professional Plus, I’ve been getting this query enough lately that I felt compelled to get my reply out there. Does Microsoft nonetheless request plenty of puzzle concerns? I’m sure this situation happens quite often sufficient: a candidate performs a search on Live for “Microsoft interview” and comes across a plethora of information related to our process. While some of the information on these sites may have value (any recent hires care to comment?), it’s my impression that puzzle questions,
Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010, once a mainstay of the MS interview,
Microsoft Office 2010 Key, have more or less entered the endangered species list. Now,
Microsoft Office Professional 2010, don’t get me wrong – I’m not saying it’s 100% guaranteed that you won’t receive this type of query – but it’s my feeling that the web at large highly overstates the frequency of these types of questions. In the last year I think I’ve seen maybe five instances of interviewers asking anything remotely close to a puzzle query. If you consider the hundreds of interviews that I’ve reviewed,
Office 2010, I’d say your actual odds of receiving one are pretty darn low. So if you’re going to be spending a bunch of time preparing for your upcoming interview, spend your time wisely. There are a few things that are just a bit more important than wondering why manhole covers are round. - Kenji
