17-page guidebook right now!advertisementA even when back again, my Windows XP CD-ROM and DVD AutoPlay characteristic quit doing work. I read the Microsoft content articles "The AutoRun characteristic or the AutoPlay element isn't going to work at the time you insert a CD-ROM from the drive" and "The AutoPlay Function Isn't going to Operate and the Current Media Doesn't Appear in My Computer After you Insert a CD or DVD" ,
Microsoft Office 2010 Pro Key, but neither article helped me solve the problem. Finally, I tried inserting a CD-ROM,
Windows 7 Home Basic Activation, selecting My Computer, right-clicking the drive that contained the CD-ROM,
Office 2010 Product Key, and selecting Properties. I clicked the AutoPlay tab and selected the Select an action to perform option,
Office Pro Plus 2010 Serial, then double-clicked the program I wanted to use to run the CD-ROM. This action launched the program on my CD-ROM. Note that simply highlighting the program you want to use and clicking OK or Apply doesn't work; you must double-click the program and force it to launch on the CD-ROM or DVD while in the drive. My CD-ROM then ran automatically,
Microsoft Office Pro Plus 2007 Serial Key, using the program I associated with it on the AutoPlay tab.
