What are your observations?
Since 2002 Vanity Fair has put out an annual “International Best Dressed List” which honors 10 men and 10 women for their superior sartorial choices. The list also inducts hall of famers, cites first ladies, couples, professional and siblings who have dressed to impress that year.
The list is created by “an international committee of fashion authorities,” and “has as its purpose the maintenance of a continuous historical record of fashion as embodied, defined,
Discount Mulberry bags, and interpreted by influential and prominent personalities each year.” While Vanity Fair has put out this list since 2002, it’s been around since 1940, when it was created by fashion pioneer Eleanor Lambert, who also created the CFDA. We know these things about this list because a little birdie who is close with a member of the “international committee of fashion authorities” slipped us the polling documents. And we scanned them in for your viewing pleasure, of course.
