Matthew Kennedy goal is usually to publish a post every two weeks – I wish consistency will maintain readers excited about the jobsblog online site. As such, I set deadlines for when I need to have my publish written and submitted. Today is my deadline, and as many students can surely relate,
buy microsoft office Pro Plus 2007, I have not written anything. Last night I told myself it wasn’t a big deal – I can just write on the bus ride to work during the morning. Well,
microsoft office pro plus x86, the morning has arrived, I am on the bus, but I am unfortunately fighting a bad case of writer’s block think of any recruiting topic to discuss this morning, so instead I have decided to write down about Microsoft in general. Specifically, I want to discuss my absolute favorite thing about working here – professional freedom. number one reason I work at Microsoft is I am trusted to perform like the professional I am. Basically, I have a job and with my job I have commitments and deliverables. I am then given the freedom to achieve those commitments and deliverables – basically, I am given near complete control over my schedule. Now this does not mean I do not have to go to work or I only work 20 hours a week. In fact it is quite the opposite. My success depends on working with many different people in a collaborative nature and I therefore have many meetings I have to attend. But I usually get to schedule when these meetings take place. Additionally,
buy office 2010 sale, when all is said and done, I usually put in a lot of hours working (rarely do I have a 40 hour work week). But hours worked do not matter to me or my manager. I really enjoy what I do, so most of the time work is fun – you will never find me staring at the clock waiting for it to turn to five. My manager is also not concerned with when I arrive at the office, how long my lunch break is, what time I went home, etc. As long as I am meeting my commitments to the business and other people (e.g. showing up to meetings on time), I am allowed to control my schedule. I am not going to lie, I work many 12 hour days – but I also occasionally leave work at 3pm to spend extra time with my family. Like I have said before – I am treated like the professional I am. realize this publish is written from the perspective of my job and work / life balance,
