Man rescued from cliffside afterward 100-foot fall

A deer hunter who was capable to stop his tumble down a precipice at grabbing a stump 40 feet from the bottom of the ravine has been liberated.

Hillsboro firefighters say Jason Henry, 32, was emulating a deer track on land owned by Longview Timber when he fell almost 100 feet on Monday p.m..

"The man continuously told the dispatcher namely he thought the stump was working to give path and he would fall down the perpendicular cliff."
