Default Phillies’ Outfielders Are All All-Stars

Nick Laham/Getty Images Jayson Werth,Cheap Red Bull Hats, left, will join Shane Victorino, cheap Atlanta Braves Hats, right, on the National League All-Star team.
A day after the Phillies’ Shane Victorino won the National League’s final vote competition and was added to this year’s All-Star team, another Phillies outfielder,Houston Astros Hats, Jayson Werth, was chosen to replace the Mets’ Carlos Beltran, who has been on the disabled list since June 22.
The Phillies’ entire regular starting outfield is now on the team. Raul Ibanez, currently on the 15-day disabled list, was voted on as a starting outfielder. The last time a team had all three of its starting outfielders on an All-Star team was in 1995 when the Cleveland Indians sent Manny Ramirez, Albert Belle and Kenny Lofton. Phillies and N.L. All-Star Manager Charlie Manuel was the hitting coach for the Indians that season.
In the American League, cheap Philadelphia Phillies Hats, the Rangers’ Nelson Cruz will replace the Angels’ Torii Hunter, who was placed on the disabled Friday.

Surely a somewhat controversial move, but for all the whiners out there, here’s a suggestion — win the frickin’ World Series and then YOU have the right to pick the subs. Werth has the numbers to back up Manuel’s choice — at the break,Colorado Rockies Hats sale, he has 20 HRs and 54 RBI’s. In fact,Tampa Bay Rays Hats sale, there are four Phillies with at least 20 HRs. CBP a band box? The Phillies have hit more HRs on the road than at home. Yankee Stadium is worse.
There’s always controversy when someone is replaced.
Get over it.

RBIs are the dumbest stat, but Jayson Werth isn’t the worst choice. Personally I would have picked Kemp for a little diversity of teams,Detroit Tigers Hats, but I’m not SEASONED VETERAN MANAGER Charlie Manuel.
