I was interested in the classification of various types of Twitter user on a recent SurfersVillage post. I fall into none of them, since I haven't joined Twitter,
cheap ghds, but I'm wondering if I should. Trouble is, I know nothing about it. For example,
pink straighteners, I received a few emails over the festive break saying that X or Y or even Z wants to follow me on Twitter. What does that mean? How does X follow me? For how long does Y follow me? Why does Z follow me? What will happen if X, Y and Z all follow me? Or if they decide to stop following me? If they follow me, do I have to follow them? Who is really following whom, and to what end?
If anyone knows and would be kind enough to provide illumination, I'd be very grateful. I guess my question is actually a simple one: will signing up to Twitter help this blog?
(But what does 'help' mean? Does it mean that the blog will acquire more readers? That Stephen Fry will start tweating about it? Or is it twittering? So many questions, so few characters.)
