This place was fun to try because it was so close to the ocean at Santa Monica but also because it had 40 of those self serve wines that you could try. You front load a card they give you with any amount you want ( but the recommend $20) and you go around to the machines and pick the wine you want to try. I've always thought this was a fun concept.
I've been to some other similar wine tasting bars that are self serve and had a better experience. The service/ cashier was definitely good but this place didn't have the right ambiance. It got really really jam packed at one point because a 'food tour' group of people stopped by and just crowded the entire place so it just didn't seem really intimate and relaxing which was what we were looking for.
