Okay Right here will be the story with hopefully the many specifics.I had a single node cluster Itanium server running W2k3 IA 64 Ent. SP2 with two x sql2000 ent sp4 and 1 sql2005 sp1 cases set up and also a clustered file share.All is properly with them. I attempted to add a further node to my cluster which started out great but when I experimented with to run the sql2000 setup to add this node,Office 2007 Enterprise Activation, there are no warning or mistakes. Its a silent failure.I tried many different scenarios however the success are the same exact. I evicted the node then experimented with to run the setup on the evicted node. The setup ran with no error. I tried to run setup on my single node cluster and it fails while in the same exact method. I go through and read and through the sqlstp.log this really is what I discover.
