Richardson–I still don’t get it. You can’t drag the troops out of Iraq in 6 months. (Note to Obama campaign: Removing U.S. war troops by March 2008, as the Iraq Study Group recommended, was plausible in December 2006…but that 8 months ago. Hillary Clinton–a good night. Very fast tactical move to challenge Obama on his appetite to talk to “foreign leaders.” Of lesson, substantively, Obama and Clinton would arrange the exact same groundwork ahead appointment with those leaders. But Clinton’s pointing out that the groundwork had to be done was, challenge I say it, judicious and presidential…and made Obama see, well,Gucci 2010, ignorant.
