Default Microsoft Office 2007 Product Key virtualization -

Hello.

Does anyone know if it is doable to try out "XP Mode" in Windows 7,Windows 7 Key, if Windows 7 is operating inside of Virtualbox? The processor I am working consists of the VT-x ability and it can be enabled within the BIOS. Theoretically VT-x makes it possible for for nesting (ie. operating Xen inside of of an other instance of Xen), even so I could not get the visitor Windows seven OS to detect the availability of VT-x.

Does Virtualbox assistance this? What do I will need to configure? Alternatively, does VMWare assistance this?

Update: thanks to everybody who responded. Following doing further research and experimentation myself,Microsoft Office 2007 Product Key, I discovered that this at present is not feasible, despite the fact that theoretically it might be (my unique inspiration was to perform close to with XP Mode without having physically rebooting the machine - I guess I will should byte the bullet and do a complete set up / reboot bodily). More reference:

From VMWare local community (emphasis extra):

It is just possible to operate nested VMs once the outer VM makes use of hardware virtualization (Intel's VT-x or AMD's AMD-V) and also the interior VM employs the classical BT (binary translation) keep an eye on. You could operate any 32-bit or 64-bit operating method because the outer visitor. You may only run 32-bit running methods because the internal visitor. These configurations are fully unsupported.

Virtual Personal computer 2008 uses the equivalent of "hardware virtualization" not "binary translation",Office Standard 2010 Key, and as such,Office 2010 Pro, it's incompatible using the scenario explained.

From Invisible Labs (emphasis added):

We can now virtualize complex hypervisors, like e.g. Virtual Laptop 2007 or Virtual Box with SVM turned on (BTW, we are able to also operate VMWare Workstation,Microsoft Office 2010 Professional, but that doesn't count, as on AMD processors it does not utilize SVM guidelines). We also possess a prototype code that allows to run nested hypervisors on VT-x but that code needs a little more polishing (oh, didn’t you know that our NBP also supports VT-x lately?).

The conclusion is that it really is technically possible, but no product implements it but. I will award the bounty anyways.
