Brown said he has talked with many of the other Lakers as well, quickly trying to get to know them before July 1. If the lockout happens, coaches will not be allowed contact with players until the dispute is resolved and that could be months.
“I’ve had one-on-one time with quite a few guys,
kobe shoes,” Brown said. “It’s been good. I’ve been able to either talk to them on the phone or sit down face-to-face with those guys. It’s been a nice transition.
“For the most part we’ve been trying to get to know one another. I think that’s the biggest thing. I don’t know any of these guys real well and they don’t know me real well,
