Default When one upgrades windows vista to windows 7 does it allow you to keep Windows Mail?

I already have my Windows 7 Pro set up a certain way and don't want Windows 7 Activation Key to change - as far as the Discount Windows 7 goes. All my shortcut icons are set up and arranged in a very efficient way for myself so I don't have to search for Windows 7 Home Basic files/folders. Will upgrading to Windows 7 Ultimate X86 screw this up?
