Moyer, 79, of Pennsylvania Furnace, died on Thursday, Nov. four, 2010,Tiffany Sterling Silver,Tiffany Co jhgjhg, at Mount Nittany Medical Middle. He was born Dec. 15, 1930, in Altoona, the son of John J. and Jane (Bradley) Moyer, the two deceased. He married Joyce Dwyer on August 27, 1955 at St. Mary's Church, Altoona. Mr. Moyer graduated from Cathedral College (1945), Altoona Catholic Higher School (1949), and St. Francis University (1957) magna cum laude. He served 4 a long time inside the US Navy throughout the Korean War being a Radarman 2nd class Petty Officer aboard the USS Gherardi (DMS-30). His skilled job was within the field of personnel and industrial relations management at New Concept Division of AVCO in Ohio and Iowa, Fisher Electronics in Milroy, and retired as Supervisor of Industrial Relations at Cerro Metal Merchandise in Bellefonte in 1985. Additionally to his wife, Joyce, he is survived by seven daughters, Kathleen (John) McGranaghan, Tabernacle, N.J.; Colleen (Leonard) Cecere, Tyrone; Eileen Moyer, Hollywood, Fla.; Joleen (Shawn) Hindman,Tiffany Keys, DuBois; Laureen (John) Palmer,Tiffany Bracelet, Port Matilda; Bernadeen (Matthew) Harlow, Port Matilda; Christeen (Jay) Kisslak, State School; 14 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Lois Duncan,Tiffany Key, of Altoona; and several nieces and nephews. Moreover to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, John "Zeke" Moyer in 1996, and William L. Moyer in 1967. He was the last member of his family. Tom will be missed greatly,Tiffany Earring, his sense of humor and easy going personality cannot be matched. Mr. Moyer is a member of Bishop Guilfoyle Alumni Association, Saint Francis University Alumni Association, USS Gherardi Association, lifetime member of the State University Elks Lodge #1600, Tin Can Sailors' Association and a charter member of the Lilly-Washington Historical Society. He and his spouse, Joyce, were co-founders of the Citizens Concerned for Human Life in Centre, Blair and Cambria Counties. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Nov. 8, 2010, 10:30 a.m., at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with Monsignor David Lockard officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Altoona on Monday at 1 p.m. Friends will be received at the Koch Funeral Property,Tiffany Bracelet, 2401 S. Atherton Street on Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Vigil Service will be held at the funeral property following the viewing at 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Holy Trinity Missions,Tiffany Crystal, PO Box 298, Saint David,Tiffany Heart Bracelet, AZ 85630 or to Garvey Manor Nursing Property, 128 Logan Blvd., Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.
