Windows 7 Intel and Lenovo Launch Netbook for Kids
 

Lenovo has teamed up with Intel to launch a netbook referred to as Classmate+ aimed at children, mostly in developing nations.
The Classmate+ is far from a powerhouse, however it packs adequate strength to obtain most work carried out – an Intel Atom N455 CPU,Windows 7 Professional, 1 or 2 GB of RAM and Windows 7. The Classmate+ won’t be available in stores – it will be sold to agencies and educational institutions. The first batch of 158,000 will be deployed to students in Argentina this spring by the Organization of Ibero-American States.
