Talk with the devil. Microsoft released to testers about the night (EST) of December twenty the December Community Technology Preview (CTP) develop of Longhorn Server. Microsoft has posted the new Longhorn Server bits to the Microsoft Connect site for download. The December CTP is what was slated to be the November CTP of the subsequent version of Windows Server. Microsoft is planning on one additional Longhorn Server CTP (possibly in January) before releasing the next main milestone,Office Ultimate 2007, Beta 3,Windows 7 Home Premium, in the early component of 2007. The final Longhorn Server release is slated to ship in the latter half of next year.
